Warlords has been huge in the Fantasy/Strategy world of PC gaming since it first launched back in 1990. To be fair, the series did wane a little in its last incarnation but 2007 might be the year for the comeback.
Impossible Product Manager Mikl???s Cs???my is very bouyant at the news; "We are very happy to work with Infinite Interactive on bringing Warlords to mobile. It's true the series has always been exceptional and that is not going to change with the transition to mobile environment. As for the titles to come, some choices should be fairly obvious while others may be surprising. That's all I can say at the moment."
The first Warlords title for mobile phones will be available later this year. For a little hint at what may be coming out on mobile, check out Puzzle Quest which combines puzzle action with strategy and will be out on PSP, DS, Xbox 360 and PC in a couple of months.
