Two new games from Australian developer - Traction Games

Story added: 05 May 2007 16:02. Last updated: 05 May 2007 16:02.

Fresh from their sporting victories, can Australia win in the mobile games as well?

Traction Games have got two new games out at the moment which should find homes on a few mobiles.

Bombtek!

Bombtek! may look and sound a little like BombJack but it's actually more of a puzzle game. The evil Bomblord has begun his reign of terror planting bombs across the world. Only one person can stop him before it's too late, the explosives expert Bombtek! Knowing this, Bomblord has captured our hero Bombtek! and banished him to the top of Blast Tower. You must help guide Bombtek! down the tower, detonating all bombs along the way and stop the evil Bomblord from destroying mankind. Work your way down the tower level by level, detonating various bombs with different characteristics but be careful not to end up becoming shrapnel yourself!

Next up is Drop Deck

If you happen to enjoy poker as much as mobile games, then Drop Deck could be the perfect game for you. One of the modes in Drop Deck, Match The Hand, seems very familiar to one of the pub quiz machine games that I always lose at. As the cards drop down, you have to try and form set poker hands before your cards run out. It involves a little bit of puzzle solving, memory and hopefully fun! There is also a standard mode where you try to make as many poker hands as possible from the dropping deck.

Stay tuned for our reviews...

When is the review? The premise looks good but what is the game play like?

cmon aussie

Keen to see the reviews. Being an aussie lad myself, its good to see Australia getting in on the mobile game scene.
